Mission
The Human-Machine Interaction Group of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia promotes Research in the Human-Machine Interaction field.
In particular the Groups designs, prototypes and creates User Interfaces with the aim to make the user's interaction as effective, safe, usable as possible and able to reduce human error to the minimum.
The point of departure and arrival is always the user: his/her characteristics, his/her needs and contexts of use of the interface (user-centered design).
Competences
The Group includes experts in:

- Ergonomics and Human Factors;
- Engineering;
- Cognitive psychology.
